Your Role
Become a Project Engineer where taking charge of projects from conceptualization to completion is the modus operandi. If self-motivation, a thirst for innovation, and a focus on detail describe you, then this role is your ideal sandbox.
Major Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients to derive project needs and develop estimate models
- Partnering with teams from concept to design fruition
- Leading cross-departmental planning and design discussions
- Developing CAD models and necessary detailed drawings
- Drafting production support materials for a seamless manufacturing process
- Directing material selection and BOM processes
- Coordinating timelines and managing expenditure tracking
- Delivering constructability support
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree (BS/MS) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related fields
- 3-5 years of professional experience in composite material design for aerospace or manufacturing settings
- Advanced user of SolidWorks or comparable design tools
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong understanding of reading technical drawings and GD&T
- Ability to foster persistent customer relationships
- Skill at self-initiation and precision workload management
- Experienced in design for manufacturability, molding, and fixture design
- Adept at analytical thinking combined with an innovative mind
