About the Job
The firm is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation Group. This position is open to the Dallas office.
Minimum Education
JD
Bar Admission
Admitted in Texas and/or Arkansas
Experience
Minimum of 4+ years of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts including product liability, complex tort, negligence, class actions and consumer fraud. Previous state court or federal clerkship a plus but not required.
Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm and experience.
Responsibilities
Work closely with team and clients to develop and execute effective litigation strategies
Conduct legal research
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conduct depositions
Handle all aspects of discovery, trial preparation, mediations, and settlement negotiations
