Compensation & Benefits Specialist - Virtual Company

• Administer and maintain the company's compensation structures, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals.
• Conduct job evaluations and benchmark roles to determine appropriate salary grades and ranges.
• Provide guidance to managers on salary offers, promotions, and adjustments.
• Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and ancillary benefits.
• Partner with vendors to manage enrollment processes, resolve employee issues, and optimize plan offerings.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure benefits compliance and accuracy.
• Perform compensation and benefits surveys to assess market competitiveness.
• Analyze data to recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits strategies.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA, ERISA, ACA, and other applicable laws.
• Prepare and file required compliance documents and reports.
• Develop and distribute educational materials to ensure employees understand their compensation and benefits options.
• Conduct benefits orientations and open enrollment sessions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline compensation and benefits processes, leveraging technology and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting compensation and benefits.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Certification in Compensation (CCP) or Benefits (CEBS) is a plus.
