Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Job Purpose:
Analyzes and reports on team member compensation and benefit programs including salary and benefits plans, incentive plans, merit increases, insurance plans, and retirement plans. Assists with the annual Open Enrollment and Merit Review cycles.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintains the compensation philosophy and framework through the job evaluation process, ensuring that positions are evaluated against the established set of criteria and are leveled consistently across the organization.
- Makes compensation recommendations and resolves compensation issues using a data-driven approach.
- Reviews salary survey participation data, including audits, validation, benchmarking reviews, and makes recommendations.
- Assists with the planning and execution of the annual merit review process.
- Educates team members, management, and Human Resources through one-on-one meetings or group trainings on benefit plans, enrollment procedures, and costs, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), life insurance, and 401(k) retirement.
- Reconciles all benefit bills and processes for payment.
- Ensures accuracy of benefit program enrollments/deductions in the HRIS by verifying team member benefit eligibility, reviewing/approving self-service enrollments, entering benefit and wellness program enrollment data in HRIS, reviewing supporting documents and HRIS data entries for completion and accuracy, correcting entries as needed, canceling or ensuring enrollment of team members affected by status changes, entering team member cancelations and transfers and confirming implementation of appropriate payroll deductions, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Manages the administration of ACA, which includes assigning measurement periods, reviewing eligibility, reaching out to managers for clarification and status changes, and reviewing 1095-Cs.
- Assists with the planning and execution of the annual open enrollment process including developing timeline, training, and collateral material.
- Assists with the development, implementation, and administration of the Wellness Program by understanding programs that can help reduce the cost of the benefit programs for both the organization and the team member.
Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources working with Benefits and or Compensation.
- Must have advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good oral and written communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain an appropriate gaming license.
Desirable:
- Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
