About the Job
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This role is responsible for day-to-day administration of Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ compensation program in accordance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to the WSF compensation philosophy.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Manage requests for job evaluations/re-evaluations for new and existing positions, complete market and FLSA analyses for non-director level roles, ensure job description has been created/updated, and communicate results to stakeholders
• Manage and own the MarketPay system administration, ensuring exceptional data integrity and staying abreast of new technology
• Participate in compensation and rewards surveys ensuring survey matches and levels accurately reflect company roles
• Interact with multiple departments regarding plan administration
• Prepare statistics, create reports, identify trends and summarize the results to management as it relates to compensation
• Assist with the design and delivery of system documentation and related training programs to ensure end user understanding of systems and processes
• Research and provide current data for the CBA Wage Proposals
• Assist with the design and delivery of compensation training to Human Resource employees and managers
• Perform audits and generate reports on an ad hoc basis
• Maintain job families, titles and grades in HRIS acting as gatekeeper for all additions and changes
• Provide guidance and support to HR and clients on compensation-related matters
• Special Projects – Serve as project manager on special projects, which involve revision, modeling, development and/or re-design of existing programs/systems
• Other duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an Individual Contributor role with required competencies: Functional /Technical Skills; Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly and Interpersonal Savvy
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Benefits, Business, etc.) from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or PHR/SPHS certification preferred
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
1 - 2 years’ compensation-related experience in base and variable pay compensation plans, 3+ years preferred
• Working knowledge of financial metrics (RONA, EBITDA, IRR and CAGER)
• Must be technologically adept with the ability to work within multiple Microsoft and HRIS systems
• Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner
• Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to take complex topics and break down into simple concepts easily understood by target audience
• Ability to appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
• Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency

PHYISICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate use of hands/fingers to operate computer, keyboard and mouse; may sit for extended periods of time
• May travel infrequently for training or to company locations to provide training or other compensation related tasks
