Our organization, a leading player in the medical industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Compensation Analyst. This role is pivotal in our organization as it drives the design, development, and implementation of compensation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in job evaluation, compensation, and workday. If you possess excellent analytical skills and have a knack for numbers, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the medical industry, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular market research to understand the latest trends in compensation and benefits, ensuring that our company remains competitive and attractive to top talent.
2. Develop and implement effective compensation strategies that align with our organization's goals and comply with legal requirements.
3. Collaborate with HR and management to understand job functions and roles, then evaluate and grade these roles based on market trends and internal value.
4. Utilize Workday and other HRIS systems to manage compensation data and generate insightful reports.
5. Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.
6. Prepare detailed job descriptions and classification systems and define job levels and families, in partnership with HR and management.
7. Conduct cost analyses on proposed compensation packages, including benefits, bonuses, and raises.
8. Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
9. Participate in salary surveys and interpret salary data.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compensation analysis, job evaluation, and Workday in the medical industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
3. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
4. Proficient in HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
5. Solid understanding of HR practices and compensation cycle management.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding, and complex work environment.
10. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel for creating reports and presentations.
