illette Children s is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our team. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday, between 8:00am-5:00pm, with a total of 20 hours per week. In this role, you will contribute to the effective design, administration, and compliance of Gillette s compensation program by evaluating and analyzing salary data, recommending pay adjustments, and participating in compensation and benefits surveys. Responsibilities include researching and monitoring compensation trends, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, and managing day-to-day compensation activities, including healthcare-related communication, reporting, and HRIS updates. You will also provide backup support to the Benefits Analyst and collaborate on Human Resources quality improvement projects. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin and have the ability to work onsite in St. Paul, MN, at least one day per month, or as needed. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this opportunity is $35,276/annually to $52,894/annually, with a median salary of $44,085/annually (salary adjusted for .5 FTE). Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities Applies the principles and practices of human resources specifically compensation to contribute to the success of Gillette. Works on projects such as design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new compensation programs. Develops and documents procedures to streamline processes and ensures compliance with regulation. Ensures Gillette s compensation program remains competitive in the marketplace. Researches, gathers, and analyzes data to find out appropriate salary level, FLSA classification and job title for new positions. Reevaluates current job descriptions and compensation. Conducts and participates in salary surveys, interprets salary data, and performs analysis to recommend and implement changes as needed. Develops appropriate job descriptions and maintains compensation information and job descriptions. Develops relationships, manages interactions, and provides guidance with the goal of providing excellent service at the individual, departmental, and organizational level. Works with the HR leadership and HR partners on compensation-related issues. Works with HRIS and Payroll staff to ensure the systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect changes. Advises on compensation for promotions and prospective employees. Communicates and shares HR compensation knowledge across all levels of the organization to produce successful outcomes and support employee engagement. Communicates compensation programs and assists employees with questions about compensation and performance appraisals. Manages and/or provides support to other human-resources projects as assigned. Provides back-up support to the benefits analyst and HRIS specialist. Responds to requests of internal and external auditors. Prepares supporting data for the review of annual salary budget. Responds to various requests for information from HRIS. Sets-up jobs in HRIS system as needed. Supports the Vice President of People Strategy and Director of HR Strategic Services with physician and executive compensation, benefits, and salary surveys.
