Complete all job functions timely, and in a professional manner.
Understand and implement all regulations pertaining to client rights.
Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks in accordance with care plan: Laundry, Vacuuming, Dishes
Washing, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Organizing, Changing Bedding.
Assist Client with meal preparation, medication compliance reminders, transportation, leisure activities, socializing, toileting reminders, bathing reminders, and transportation around community as needed.
Understanding and implementing identified tasks on clients’ service plan.
Exemplifying exceptional customer service while with clients, family of clients, and in the community at large while wearing company logo/ name badge.
Report to work in proper work attire: scrubs, closed shoes, and name badge.
Document and report all client concerns to the direct supervisor.
Participation in mandatory Infection Control, and population-based trainings.
Respond to client requests promptly.
Use Personal cellular devices only in emergency situations.
Timely reporting of safety hazards observed in home to direct supervisor.
Immediate reporting of client accidents and incidents to direct supervisor and clients listed emergency contact.
Immediate report and observed abuse or neglect of client to direct supervisor
Work will require travel, and possible overtime to meet client needs.
Work may create potential exposure to chemical hazards, infectious waste, diseases, and blood borne pathogens.
Work may require the ability to lift, pull, push, bend, and lift arms above head.
Reporting to work timely.
Accuracy of timekeeping in arrival and departure from work.
Maintaining confidentiality of residents personal and healthcare documents.
Refusal to accept monetary gifts, bribes from clients and/or client family members.
Forming meaningful and professional relationships with clients and their families.
Reporting to work in accordance with schedule created by direct supervisor
Accurate documentation of tasks provided to client.
Position Qualification Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age, or older.
Must have exceptional customer service/ and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively to clients, client family, and team members.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Must govern self with integrity, and honesty. Must be reliable, honest, and ethical.
Must have good time management and organizational skills.
Must be a compassionate care giver.
Must have a baseline TB test reading/ recorded "negative" for TB
Must be free from substantiated findings of abuse or neglect on the Health Care Personnel Registry
Must pass a criminal background screening.
Must be able to complete a job requirement with, or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be able to successfully complete all components of orientation.
Must be knowledgeable about all client rights.
