About the Job
This role will assist in the implementation, coordination, and continuous review of various community service programs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a liaison between local agencies involved in program operations.
- Handle inbound and outbound correspondence with community members over the phone, via chat, email, etc.
- Interpret program guidelines and policies for operating agencies.
- Conduct periodic visits to outside agencies and department programs, preparing observation reports.
- Receive, review, coordinate, and respond to correspondence from operating agencies.
- Collaborate with agencies to identify operational problems, make necessary adjustments, and promote innovation.
- Assign, evaluate, and monitor completion of tasks as needed.
- Fulfill related duties and responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in social service or related field.
- Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License.
- Knowledge of community service programs and social work practices.
- Understanding of the community and its needs.
- Ability to assess client needs and make appropriate referrals.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Clear and concise documentation and communication abilities.
Salary
