Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 annual salary, depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Living Community Sales Manager will market and sell all areas of CRISTA Senior Living Communities within the Shoreline and Silverdale campuses. Meet and exceed all occupancy goals by successfully implementing sales programs and building strong relationships with prospects and their family members with the goal and expectation of selling apartments and services. Assist in development and implementation of outreach, promotions, events, and special projects to support sales efforts for CRISTA Senior Living communities. Interview, hire and manage performance of the Sales team. Lead, train, supervise employee progression and provide direction to successfully achieve sales goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES
Sales:
- Lead Sales team through training, coaching, and mentoring, focusing on meeting 100% of benchmarks and achieving census goals through relational and transactional led conversions.
- Establish and exceed occupancy goals within each community on both campuses by leading and presenting direct sales, events, tour information and follow-ups to the team, discharge planners (lunch and learn) and social workers.
- Maintain sales tracking and professional outreach database through calls, visits, mailings and marketing events while keeping management informed of accurate occupancy information.
- Document sales processes in the Customer Relationship Management database.
- Process received fees according to CRISTA accounting procedures.
Community Outreach and Events:
- Plan special events such as art shows, Health Bazaars, and after-hours Chamber of Commerce with the sales and marketing team and help carry them out from start to finish.
- Utilize the Sherpa database system and zoom along with other software tools to interact with potential residents, families and CRISTA staff to determine appropriate placement.
- Facilitate and coordinate resident move-ins by working with prospects, family members, service providers, and CRISTA staff.
- Plan and execute professional outreach opportunities, for example, lunch and learns, chamber after hours and networking groups, representing CRISTA Senior Living to the community.
- Attract, inspire and educate residents by setting up marketing and outreach events and providing educational classes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for hiring, training, and leading Community Relations Associates, Sales & Marketing Coordinator, and Resident Services Coordinators.

- Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
EXPERIENCE
- Five years sales experience in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment with proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
- Two years supervisory/leadership experience, overseeing a sales team.
- Demonstrated successful sales and marketing experience specific to Senior Communities.
- In-depth knowledge of competitors and community resources.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
Microsoft Office Suite with a specialized focus on Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Flexibility in schedule with varied work hours (i.e., working evenings and weekends).
- Passion for working with the senior population.
- Highly skilled at discovering sales motivations, building relationships, overcoming objections and closing.
- Strong computer, Customer Contact database and accounting skills.
- Able to handle multiple, concurrent projects and work within diverse teams.
- Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
- Two years recent sales experience in senior housing or senior communities.
- Consultative sales experience, with proven analytic and resolution skills.

Knowledge of Customer relations management software
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Familiar with terminology of FHA, ADA, EHO and other federal, state and local regulations
- Willing to complete further sales training and certifications.
