This position is a 12-month / 40% FTE position that will work 16 hours per week. The preferred schedule is Monday through Thursday 9: 00 am to 1:00 pm.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
DEFINITION
Under general supervision, perform clerical work related to participant registration and program/activity administration; and perform other related duties as required.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
The Community Programs Assistant/Receptionist class is distinguished from other positions in the clerical series by the high level of public contact, standardized duties requiring the exercise of independent judgment in policy interpretation and application. Incumbents are required to handle all but the most complex matters without close supervision.
Incumbents in this position support student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness by serving as a first contact and support for students, staff, and faculty.
