About the Job
Currently have a temporary need for a Community Program Administrative Assistant with our client located in downtown Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role you will be providing support for affordable housing initiatives. This role is essential for maintaining the operational effectiveness of community programs, focusing on administrative tasks and data management related to affordable housing projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for affordable housing projects, including document preparation, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Perform accurate data entry and validation to ensure all information is correctly captured and maintained.
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Utilize Excel to create spreadsheets, compile data, and generate reports to support project management and decision-making processes.
- Coordinate and manage communications with project stakeholders, including residents, housing authorities, and service providers as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within an affordable housing or community development context.
- Strong data entry and validation skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with bookkeeping or financial record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
