POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
The Community Partnership Programs Project Coordinator is a rewarding role within The Hidden Genius Project, supporting the Community Partnership Programs Manager in executing comprehensive and culturally competent support for youth participants, especially those in our partnership programming. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the effectiveness and efficiency of our partnership programming. This role will work to ensure coordination of holistic care models, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and ensuring program alignment and success . This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and proactive individual passionate about youth development and community impact.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Partnership Development:
Support in ensuring community partnership programming is in alignment with The Hidden Genius Project’s strategic objectives and program goals.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and evaluation of Community Partners Programming.
Monitor and support the execution of community programs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Assist in the development and maintenance of partnership documentation, including MOUs, contracts, and reports.
Research and identify potential community partners aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
Initiate and build relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, and local businesses.
With direction from supervisor, respond to inquiries from potential partners. Under the direction of your supervisor, organize and attend planning meetings with new and existing community partners.
Support the development and execution of local programs, activities and events.
Communication and Liaison:
Maintain regular communication with partners to address any issues, provide updates, and gather feedback.
Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events with community partners.
Support community partners and the internal team in building their capacity to deliver effective programs and services.
Provide resources, training, and technical assistance to partners as needed.
Promote best practices and innovative approaches to community programming.
Data Management and Analysis:
Collect and analyze data related to partnership activities and program outcomes.
Utilize data to assess the effectiveness of partnerships and make recommendations for improvements.
Track and manage partnership activities, outcomes, and deliverables using project management tools.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of partnership data into the organization’s database.
Prepare and submit reports to funders, stakeholders, and senior management as required.
Community Engagement:
Foster a sense of community and collaboration among partners and stakeholders.
Promote the organization’s mission and programs through outreach and engagement activities.
Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings.
Continuous Improvement:
Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in partnership strategies and processes.
Stay informed about trends and developments in community programming and partnership building.
Contribute to the development of new partnership models and initiatives to enhance the organization’s impact.
Youth Educator Support:
Assist in coordinating and mentoring Youth Educators working with Community Partners.
Ensure Youth Educators track and report their experiences, time worked, and any safety concerns.
Support the administration of the Youth Educator performance rating processes for Youth Educators in community programming.
Other responsibilities/projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Required
Bachelor’s Degree or related certification/experience.
2+ years of experience in nonprofit management, youth development, or related fields.
Strong work ethic and passion for the wellbeing of young people.
Familiarity with healing/trauma-informed care and holistic health models.
Experience working with youth of color, underrepresented youth, and/or low-income youth.
Strong cultural competence and commitment to asset-based youth development strategies.
Creative, resourceful, organized, and proactive.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and across sectors.
Proficiency in strategic planning and implementation.
Knowledge of youth development and nonprofit fundraising models.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Role Location: Oakland, CA
Reports to: Community Partnership Programs Manager
Status: Part-Time, Non-exempt, hourly
Schedule: 10 Hours per week, Monday-Friday

COMPENSATION:
Hourly rate and applicable benefits will be competitive and commensurate with experience and residential region.
