About the Job
We are currently hiring an Entry Level Community Outreach Specialist to join our Santa Maria office. Our client is an nationally based internet provider and has given us exclusive rights to represent them throughout the Central California coast. To meet the requirements of our newest contract, we are expanding our community and customer outreach team immediately. The main objective of the Entry Level Community Outreach Specialist is to qualify and enroll potential customers and assist them through the process.
Responsibilities of the Entry Level Community Outreach Specialist:
- Engage prospective and current customers in the local community, educate them about our clients services and any promotional discounts available to them, and assist them through the enrollment and installation process
- Answer customer questions and provide solutions tailored to their needs
- Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with potential customers
- Collaborate with fellow team members to learn best practices and develop streamlined outreach and marketing methods
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire process, as well as continuing to offer support even after enrolled in the program
- Actively contribute to a positive, engaging work environment by collaborating and maintaining professional, friendly relationships across all teams and departments
Qualifications for Community Outreach position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, restaurants or similar environment preferred but not required
- A natural people person
- Professional, reliable, and genuine demeanor with a proven track record of building effective relationships with community members, co-workers, and clients
- Entrepreneurial-minded with a high level of motivation and desire for growth
- Highly attentive, excellent listener, and exceptional organizational and time management skills
POSITION OVERVIEW
- This position will report to and work out of our office in Santa Maria
- This position involves working directly with customers in a face to face setting
- This position does not require any previous experience
- This is a full time opening & starts immediately
