Community Outreach / Customer Service Representatives lead our team in engagement, discovery, and solutions by engaging with community members and employing their problem-solving skills to provide the most knowledgeable customer service.
Responsibilities of the Community Outreach / Customer Service Representative role:
- Initiate service education, customer acquisition, and sales process through direct contact with local community members
- Prepare for consumer interactions through entry-level training and independent research on the network-managed services and capabilities in our local region
- Clarify current needs and wants with customers and determine their telecommunication solutions based on client offerings and capacities
- Build and utilize relationships with client representatives to outsource customer inquiries that may need additional service information
- Connect with management and other Customer Service team members to review client expectations, sales metrics, customer service results, and production goals
Qualities of an Ideal Candidate:
- Genuinely interested in problem-solving, creative thinking, and helping/servicing others
- Feels comfortable asking questions to management or more senior members of the Customer Service or Sales teams during training and hands-on work
- Has primary knowledge of customer service, sales, communications, marketing, or business
- Can achieve both individual and collaborative goals through time management, discipline, and organization
- Exhibits professional and personal communication skills, whether it is within the office or speaking with customers
