Community Manager - Los Angeles at WSH Management, Inc.

Position Summary

WSH Management is currently recruiting for an a mazing Community Manager for our 70 unit affordable senior property located in Los Angeles, CA. Reports to Regional Property Manager.

Job Duties

The Community Manager is primarily responsible for the day to day management of all property operations to include, weekly and monthly reports, consistent implementation of community policies, accounts receivable and payable, and preparing the annual budget. Our Community Managers are organized, detail oriented and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks at a time.

• Ability to understand financial goals, operate asset in owners' best interest in accordance with policies & procedures.
• Address resident concerns and requests in timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
• Ensure efficiency of staff through leadership, ongoing training, instruction and counseling as applicable.
• Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis.
• Ensure property is rented to fullest capacity and lost rent is minimized.

Qualifications

While we are proud to offer on-the-job training for all positions, we prefer you to start with the following experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years working in permanent supportive housing programs serving homeless or other special needs populations.
• Previous experience as a Community Manager for a Tax Credit property during lease-up.
• Minimum 2-3 years as a Community Manager of a stabilized Tax Credit property.
• Strong commitment to affordable senior housing.
• Supervisory experience in a property management setting.
• Proficiency with property management software.
• High School Diploma Required. College degree preferred
• Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
• Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook as well as property management software applications.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain current auto insurance.
• Candidate will be required to pass a background and drug screening. (A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you from employment with WSH Management.)

Compensation

• Base Pay Start Rate: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour.
