RESPONSIBLE TO:
Director of Business Development
DESCRIPTION:
The Community Liaison is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and implementing the agency marketing programs, which includes community education, non-remunerative solicitation of patients and/or patronage, and advertising. The community liaison is responsible to the Director of Business Development. This Community Liaison will be responsible for covering our Denver Metro Region.
SALARY:
$73,000-$78,000
JOB DUTIES:
- Helps plan, develop, and implement marketing plans in their area with the Director of Business Development.
- Plans and conducts community awareness activities which inform physicians, healthcare workers, and patients (current and prospective) of agency programs and capabilities.
- Conducts efforts to obtain new referrals from physicians, community organizations, and hospital discharge planners.
- Prepares community relation activity reports as directed by the Director of Business Development.
- Performs pre-discharge hospital assessments, coordinates required treatment plan of care.
- Assists with health plan contracting activities.
- Helps design agency information and marketing literature (brochures, newsletters, social media posts, and website content) and tools for use in the marketing program.
- Attends community business functions to gain exposure for the agency.
- Sets and meets job related goals.
- Identifies self-learning needs and utilizes educational programs to assist in learning.
- Contributes to and participates in team and individual efforts to improve the quality of service.
- Speaks effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
- Complies with Amazing Care's policies and attendance/punctuality.
- Works closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategy and needs with the business and clinical objectives and needs.
- Travel within assigned area focusing on and prioritizing the referrals needed to fill clinician needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred, high school or equivalent required with business development experience.
- At least one year marketing or administrative experience in a health care setting.
- Knowledge of home health care services and managed care plans.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent speaking and writing ability.
TRAVEL: Expected weekly travel within the marketer's area.
