Job Summary:
The Community Engagement and Marketing Associate will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to enhance community relationships, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement across various platforms. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams to coordinate community outreach initiatives, manage events, and create compelling content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for community building, strong communication skills, and experience in marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
•Foster and maintain strong relationships with community members and partners.
•Respond to community inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
•Monitor and participate in relevant community forums, social media groups, and other online platforms to drive engagement and promote brand awareness.
•Identify and collaborate with community influencers, advocates, and ambassadors to amplify the brand's message.
Marketing Support:
•Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that resonate with the community.
•Coordinate with the management and marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all community interactions.
Event Coordination:
•Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, both virtual and in-person, that align with the organization's goals.
•Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budget management.
•Promote events through various channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
•Gather feedback from events and use insights to improve future initiatives.
Relationship Building:
• Develop and nurture partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups to support community outreach initiatives.
• Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and other public forums.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with broader organizational goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
•1-3 years of experience in community engagement, marketing, event planning, or a related role.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
•Experience with event planning and coordination.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
