About the Job
- Communications/Training Specialist will develop engaging and informative content, communications, and cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives geared towards specific and varying audiences
- Utilize diverse and original content forms (e.g., articles, posters, board games, videos, flyers, learning modules, etc.) to raise the effectiveness of the content with intended audiences
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of content (e.g., security awareness initiatives in place etc.) through various metrics (e.g., engagement, behavioral etc.)
- As a Communications/Training Specialist, you will assist with design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity awareness roadmaps
- Identify and interpret relevant metrics that measure the effectiveness of content
- Organize cybersecurity awareness events as needed
Requirements:
- Technology Communications, Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Content Specialist
- Project management experience, the ability to plan, manage and maintain multiple time-bound tasks
- Practical knowledge of different message distribution techniques to ensure effective end user consumption of content
- Fluency in communicating in the English language both written and spoken
- Ability to communicate complex subject matter in a simple, clear, and concise manner to various stakeholder groups within the organization
- Experience as an author, editor, or contributor to literary work
- A basic understanding of the different concepts of information security and/or risk management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
