Communications Specialist Job Summary:
Sparks Group has partnered with a financial services company in Rockville, MD to find a Communications Specialist. This opportunity will require you to work onsite for the first six months, after which you will transition to a hybrid schedule.
Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing content on the company’s website.
- Writing and editing content (web content, articles, scripts, white papers, presentations, etc.).
- You will be tasked with creating graphics and written content for the web, marketing slicks, infographics, white papers, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Maintain social media presence.
- Responsible for supporting external and internal communications for the organization.
Communications Specialist Requirements:
- 3+ years of communications experience required.
- Degree in English, Communications, or related field required.
- Graphic design experience is required.
- Must be a good writer/editor.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
- Should be highly proficient at creating PowerPoint creating presentations.
- Ability to create and manage website content is required. Experience with Drupal is preferred.
- Experience writing concise and compelling content (articles, white papers, emails, social media, etc.).
- Portfolio should be submitted with application and should include PowerPoint samples.

Pay Range: Salary $70,000.00 to $75,000.00
