Key Responsibilities
Publications:
- Conduct interviews, gather images, and secure approvals for magazine features.
- Proofread and assist with market research for stories.
- Support celebrity cover story outreach and social media highlights.
Public Relations & Marketing:
- Maintain press calendars, draft press releases, and prepare briefings.
- Support red-carpet events and PR initiatives for signature events.
- Distribute daily trending news summaries.
Website Management:
- Update press release, awards, and news sections.
- Generate Google Analytics reports.
- Collaborate on new landing pages and content.
Social Media:
- Plan and analyze daily posts and assist with event campaigns.
- Provide basic performance analytics monthly.
General Support:
- Assist with organizing video, photo, and document archives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in PR, media, or a related role.
- Proficiency with platforms like Meltwater, Cision, Canva, and Microsoft Office (Excel expertise required).
- Strong writing, proofreading, and copy-editing skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MailChimp, and CRM platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of video production and editing tools is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position starts at $26.00 an hour. Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include:

Type: Contract-to-Hire (6-month contract before hire)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (In-office Monday-Thursday, Remote on Fridays)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
