Commissions Associate, Financial Services - Alera Group

Alera Group is looking for a Commissions Associate to join our Weatlh Services, Insurance and Retirment Plan Services divisions. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

As a Commissions Associate, you will be part of a growing team dedicated to the support of Alera’s Wealth Services, Insurance, and Retirement Plan Services divisions.

• Troubleshoot and research compensation inquiries for Financial Advisors
• Facilitate updates and changes in Xtiva (Sales Performance and Incentive Compensation Tool) such as building new compensation splits and updating advisor payout percentages
• Document management activities including retrieval and processing of 401(k) and Insurance statements as well as uploading documentation to our archive database
• Participate in payroll closure and reporting
• Monitor incoming mail for compensation checks and process accordingly
• Processing of checks and invoices for Financial Planning clients
• Pull ACH bank transactions
• Contribute to additional support activities as needed

• Undergraduate college degree required
• 3 or more years of relevant, hands-on experience in a commission processing role, supporting advisors in the Wealth Management and/or Retirement Plan Services fields
• Proficiency with Xtiva or other leading fee and commission billing software required
