Title: Commissioning Engineer or Senior Commissioning Engineer
Salary: 90K-130K + bonus, DPOE
Location: Greater Hartford, CT
Duration: Permanent

Join our team as a Commissioning Engineer and play a key role in ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems—like HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, and lighting—are installed and functioning perfectly before they reach our clients!

What You’ll Do:
– Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop commissioning plans, inspection checklists, and performance testing schedules.
– Testing and Inspection: Inspect installations for compliance, and oversee functional testing of systems and equipment.
– Documentation: Prepare detailed commissioning reports and maintain records of test results and resolutions.
– Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process, coordinating with contractors to address challenges.

Qualifications:
– B.S. degree in construction management or engineering technology preferred.
– Experience with Building Management Systems/Controls and HVAC testing is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
– Willingness to travel to project sites.
