We're searching for a Commissioning Agent in Charlotte area.
Job Description
Making full use of the company's management systems in achieving the primary objective
Proactively progress commissioning activities throughout the project cycle in conjunction with the General Contractor and vendors
By diligent management of the commissioning process seeing that systems are set to work optimally and verified as such, in accordance with the design requirements
Providing consultative advice in determining commissioning and performance requirements, commissioning strategies, programs, scopes of work, test scripts, etc.
Mentoring junior staff
Delivery of the project in full accordance with our appointment to include technical and commercial compliance
Commercially manage project change
Accountability for the quality of service, delivery, and management of client expectations
Full compliance with project-related safety insofar as it relates to our work
Providing positive and effective management and setting an appropriate example to other members of the team
Provide feedback for staff appraisals
To assist in continuing to develop the Company's management systems and processes
The role involves working closely with many different members of a construction project team. It requires the ability to think and communicate clearly, remain focused, and lead construction delivery staff whilst remaining motivated during fast-moving periods of complex site activity.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing the interconnectivity of building equipment including pumps, fans, motors, air ventilation, chillers, boilers, steam distribution, heat absorption, building automation systems, optimization
techniques, electrical distribution, fire alarm, variable refrigerant flow, and waste-water systems.
Work with 3rd party testing and commissioning agent to develop detailed plans and schedules.
Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, bid process, and ancillary industry documents.
Experience in architectural and engineering work.
Working experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Products.
Ability to self-manage throughout the project and work as part of a team.
Proven communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Aptitude to solve problems independently and in a team environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Public speaking and presentation skills
Adaptability to varying indoor and outdoor working conditions
Physical fitness, capability to lift at least 30 pounds, and ability to climb ladders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
