Job Details
In this role, you will be tasked with the following:
- Overseeing all phases of large-scale ground-up commercial projects from inception to completion.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Managing and coordinating with the project team and subcontractors on a daily basis.
- Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients and other staff members.
- Implementing effective communication strategy for the resolution of construction issues and conflict.
-Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, preventing any unsafe conditions.
- Liaising with clients, architects, and other construction professionals regularly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Extensive experience in managing large commercial construction projects, specifically ground-up projects.
- Proven experience in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial, and Senior Living sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
-Proficient in construction management software.
- A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
