About the Job
Must have:
• HSMAI CHSL, CRME, CHDM ( Certification | HSMAI Global) Preferred
Envision, EAS, TravelClick 360, Opera, Reserve and Lanyon RFP proficiency
• Minimum 3 years Director of Sales experience in full service hotel and/or select regional experience, both are a plus
Required:
• Based in the Chicagoland
• Experience in a management role
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Applied Learning Development, or a related field
• Experience with Hyatt tools and systems
• Experience with Kahoot! online game-based learning platform
• Ability to travel primarily in region - approx 50%
Experience and Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum 7 years hotel experience, including sales with Select and Full Service hotels
• Strong knowledge of transient, group and leisure segments and understanding of marketing and revenue management functions
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with varied stakeholder roles and levels
• Experience in designing and developing interactive learning experiences
• Multiple hotel and brand experience is a plus
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms)
