Position Overview:
Medical Device Business Services, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Sales Training Specialist to support the Sales Training Team in the design, development, and execution of training initiatives for the Field Sales Organization (FS0).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Training Managers in the design, development, and delivery of programs focused on Spine Anatomy & Procedures, the Spine Product Portfolio, Spine Enabling Technologies, & Sales Methodologies.
- Develop Sales Consultants' expertise in technical training, professional selling, clinical competence, strategic account management, and market savvy through a multi-modal approach.
- Training Facilitation: Lead and conduct learning in live, virtual, and self-guided formats aligned with our learning strategy.
- Ensure all sales training practices & learning content is current, copy approved, and follows company compliance.
- Handle daily business-focused training requests & initiatives for the Sales Training (Commercial Education) Team.
Education :
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA preferred.
Required :
- 1-2 years of Spine Medical Device Sales Experience in the operating room is required.
- Intrinsic sense of accountability, adaptability, and initiative.
- Ability to dynamically facilitate & present educational content to a variety of audiences (learners, coworkers, and senior leaders).
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and operate successfully within a team environment.
- Growth Mindset.
- This position is located on-site in Raynham, MA, and may require up to 25% travel.
- 1 year of Spine Navigation and/or Spine Robotics Experience.
- Experience with enhanced visualization technologies used in Spine Surgery.
- Experience with Biomaterials used in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Experience in developing, and delivering educational content for virtual, classroom, internal, and/or field-based audiences.
- Experience with Capital Equipment Sales Process.
- Experience as an orthopedic/medical device trainer.
- Understanding of adult learning principles.
- Facile in content development software (video editing, audio editing, graphic design, etc.) and new educational technologies (VR, AR, Animation, gamification, etc.)
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $89,000 to $143,750. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

- Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
