Mighty Distributing of the Midwest is expanding!
Mighty is a wholesale only business serving automotive installers such as quick lubes, repair shops, tire shops, car washes, fleets and dealerships. Mighty Midwest is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our winning team and "Be Mightier"!
Our potential candidate ideally will have a background with business-to-business outside sales, ability to bring a collective “range” of professional experiences and possess strong self-organization/disciplined mindset. This candidate must be curious, be an enthusiastic and imaginative team player and maintain a strong emotional intelligence.
Immediate position available - Mighty Distributing of the Midwest Commercial Sales Manager
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow and maintain existing customer accounts on a daily sales route
- Prospect throughout the available territory to develop new sales opportunities
- Plan account and territory strategies to achieve specific sales growth objectives
- Work in an advisory role with customers to create programs that result in upgrade opportunities and new product lines being added
- Train and educate customer staff on preventive maintenance programs and new products
- Collaborate with General Manager on inventory management, sales planning and execution
- Wants his/her compensation to reflect the results he/she delivers
- Effectively plan sales route for maximum efficiency
- Input sales orders into proprietary sales software tool
- Assist with collecting payments from customers if necessary
- Grow market with help from fellow Mighty team members
- Performs other duties as needed
Essential Qualifications:
- Ethical and Factual
- Must be comfortable Warm/Cold Calling
- Consistent follow up using a CRM
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast thinking and understand/grasp concepts quickly
- Comfortable creating and presenting sales presentations
- Ideally possess a past successful sales experience career
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
