In this role, you will play a crucial part in our construction projects by accurately estimating the costs of roofing and metal wall panel installations. • Estimate the costs of roofing and metal wall panel projects accurately and efficiently.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to determine the scope of work.
• Analyze blueprints and drawings to identify potential challenges and develop solutions.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services needed for the project.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate cost estimates and proposals.
• Present estimates to clients and negotiate pricing as needed.
• Track and manage project costs throughout the bidding process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate pricing.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating roofing and metal wall panel projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar programs is preferred.
• Experience with metal wall panel systems and roofing materials is a plus.
• Prefer 10+ years of commercial roofing experience.
