Commercial Roofing Estimator - Highland Roofing Company

Highland Roofing is committed to performing high quality commercial roof installations and repairs at a fair price to our customers. We're looking for someone who shares this philosophy and has the proven experience to create estimates and proposal letters for commercial new construction, replacement roofing and coating/restoration projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create estimates and proposal letters for commercial new construction, replacement roofing and coating/restoration projects.
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures to determine the best way for installation of the roofing systems.
• Manage and maintain the estimating schedule.
• Create and maintain accurate estimating templates using excel or estimating software
• Prepare submittal packets for contracted projects as required.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and thorough.
• Thoroughly document all quoted and sold results on company software.
• Maintain an awareness of the department's productivity & profitability goals and work with dept. manager to meet and exceed those goals.
• Proactively work with executive team on improving/streamlining processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in estimating
• Knowledgeable of a variety of roofing systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with minimal management
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills
