Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc. is Arizona's leading supplier of commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment, design services, and installations. We contract with General Contractors throughout the Southwestern US to provide and install commercial kitchens in casinos, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, resorts/hotels, and restaurants. These projects include walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and custom built-in refrigeration equipment in warehouses, kitchens, and bars.
Essential Job Duties:
- Performs evacuations of parallel racks and single systems after verifying pressure tests.
- Check EMS wiring and programming for all manufacturers of EMS systems when required.
- Performs full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
- Leads refrigeration team members on projects, directing work activities including line set routes and refrigeration component placement.
- Works with Project Managers and coordinates with GCs and other trades to complete projects.
- Use skills to interpret blueprints, floor plans, shop drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Works with Operations and Project Managers between projects to assist with problematic systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Possess the skill to wire walk-in evaporators, condensing units, ice machines, and parallel rack systems.
- Install line sets for walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and parallel rack systems.
- Perform start-up of walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and parallel rack systems.
- Construct walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues with walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and parallel rack systems.
- Other Refrigeration Technician job duties include installation of other commercial cooking equipment, diagnosis, and repair.
- Occasional mandatory evening, weekend, and on-call work hours are required, as well as travel to job sites throughout Arizona and other states. Overtime, based on workload, is available.
Requirements:
- EPA Type II or Universal certification.
- Valid AZ Driver License in good standing and ability to be covered by Company insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift at least 100 lbs and work on ladders.
- Knowledge and understanding of installing commercial equipment.
- 2 years of construction experience is preferred.
- Plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
