SNI Companies has partnered with a growing company in the Baltimore, Maryland area in search of Real Estate Paralegal. This is a HYBRID position - 2 days onsite.

Typical duties include:
- Reviewing surveys, title commitments and exception documents.
- Drafting title objection letters and/or responses based on consultation with and review by attorneys; tracking title and survey issues to resolution.
- Preparing documents relating to a variety of real estate, loan and construction matters based on consultation with and review by attorneys, including but not limited to purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and standard construction contracts.
- Preparing ancillary real estate transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner’s affidavits, closing certificates, and resolutions.
- Providing general assistance in real estate, lending, construction and leasing transactions.
- Drafting corporate, limited liability company and partnership resolutions for review by attorneys.
- Drafting corporate, limited liability company and partnership formation and organizational documents and filing formation documents with Maryland SDAT and other jurisdictions.
- Maintaining entity files and assisting clients with compliance issues.
- Analyzing entity structure for compliance with Corporate Transparency Act.
- Analyzing and summarizing documents for review by attorneys.
- Working closely with attorneys to resolve a variety of day-to-day issues, and supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and projects.
- Performing legal due diligence including ordering and reviewing UCC, judgment and lien searches, zoning letters, and environmental reports.
- Organizing and prioritizing work assignments to consistently provide high-quality work product within stated deadlines.
- Drafting, updating and maintaining spreadsheets to track status of transactions and/or pending agreements.
- Assisting with management of closing process, including compilation of execution documents and communication with all parties to transactions (lender, title company, seller, purchaser, etc.)
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a transactional paralegal role. Real estate experience, including title and survey review experience, strongly preferred.
