Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Conduct thorough and meticulous due diligence investigations to identify any potential risks or liabilities associated with commercial real estate transactions.
- Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial real estate agreements and contracts, ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- Represent the company in any legal disputes or litigation related to commercial real estate.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the legal team and liaise with external legal counsel as required.
- Keep abreast of changes in commercial real estate law and regulations, and advise the company on any potential impacts or risks.
- Provide training and guidance to other members of the team on commercial real estate law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Attorney.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate law and regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting due diligence investigations and negotiating complex commercial real estate transactions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of legal matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments and decisions.
- High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a busy workload and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
