About the Job
Our client is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to join their team and oversee a portfolio of industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in commercial property management, with a focus on industrial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned industrial properties, including tenant relations, maintenance, and lease administration.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, including obtaining bids, hiring contractors, and supervising work.
- Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations with tenants, and ensure lease terms are accurately documented and enforced.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, including forecasting and monitoring expenses, and ensure properties operate within budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with leasing agents to market and lease vacant spaces, and oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes.
- Maintain accurate property records, including lease agreements, financial documents, and tenant correspondence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting commercial real estate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial Property Manager, with a focus on industrial properties.
- Strong understanding of commercial property management principles, lease administration, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and landlord-tenant laws.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
