Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in electrical construction to lead and oversee the successful execution of electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and resolve project challenges promptly.
- Budget & Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and forecasts.
- Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Track project profitability and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians and foremen, to achieve project goals.
- Conduct regular meetings to provide updates and address issues.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all projects meet contractual requirements, and company quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and industry standards.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address client concerns promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records, including contracts, change orders, and project documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in project management within electrical construction.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, OSHA) are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and nonverbal)
- Requires self-motivation, organization, and prioritization management
- Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines

Work Environment:
In performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
