Commercial Project Manager
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team! The Project Manager will be responsible for actively managing multiple projects at the same time while scheduling and coordinating products and materials including production order creation, procurement, delivery and/or installation. The Project Manager works closely with various in-house departments, as well as customers and vendors.
The main objective for the Project Manager is to accurately and efficiently manage commercial and multi-family projects, while driving customer satisfaction and project margins.

Responsibilities for the Project Manager:
- Collaboration with estimators, sales reps and detailers for review of project scopes
- Advise and/or verify rough openings
- Post bid addendums, proposal requests, RFI’s, ASI’s, etc.
- Ensuring project-specific vendor quotes don’t expire
- Using experience and knowledge as they relate to building codes, life safety, and accessibility
- Documenting all aspects of any given project through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.
- Managing several projects (multi-family and commercial) daily
- Working with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping details
- Direct communication with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits
- Determining and adequately meeting project schedules & deadlines
- Staying on budget while providing material within the project scope
- Creating and implementing door hardware keying schedules
Requirements of the Project Manager:
- Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience with commercial construction projects
- Knowledgeable in Division 8 products and services (windows, doors, frames, hardware, etc.)
- Proficient in Division 28 (Access Control, Security, Safety) products and the integration with door hardware is preferred.
- Highly proficient in reading and takeoffs of construction- and shop drawings, blueprints, and specs
- DHI Certifications (AHC, CDC, EHC, AOC) preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Comsense, Avaware, and/or other window and door related software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
