Commercial Plumbing Foreman - Tioga Plumbing & Electric

Tioga Plumbing & Electric is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our family.

This position will carry out regular maintenance and installation of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites. He/she will work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform installation of plumbing and utility systems at new and remodel properties (appliances, showers, gas connections, booster pumps, water heaters, valves, faucets and other fixtures)
• Installation of PRV's, backflow devices and code required fixtures
• Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial sites
• Perform any necessary repairs or modifications to previously installed systems
• Emergency repairs for ongoing and past projects 
• Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems
• Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
• Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
• Manage job productivity and crew
• Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites via company provided I-Pad

Requirements:

• Must hold a minimum of a Journeyman License. 
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to scale and interpret plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete project phases in a timely manner
• Good working knowledge of water, gas, and sewer systems.  
• Previous experience in commercial construction plumbing, and maintenance
• Know how to test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items over 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle physical workload 
• Have own hand tools and equipment for all phases, including basic power tools. (heavy tools/equipment provided)
