Through strong product/market knowledge and supplier/customer relationships, you will be responsible for ensuring Dyno Nobel is positioning its product supply and demand balance in the most profitable and optimized channels.

What You'll Do
As the Commercial Nitrogen Manager, you will strategically and tactically source product to proactively deliver on customer and business expectations. Through strong product/market knowledge and supplier/customer relationships, you will be responsible for ensuring Dyno Nobel is positioning its product supply and demand balance in the most profitable and optimized channels. Other duties include:
* Demonstrate Participative and Passionate Leadership and commitment to IPL HSEC Management System and applicable regulations. Commitment to the IPL belief that all incidents are preventable.
* Support the distribution network with next best alternative analysis, product placement, customer profitability analysis, pricing recommendations to support Company sales teams.
* Responsible for day-to-day management and forecasting of Dyno Nobel's ammonium nitrate third party supplier contacts.
* Conduct on-going profit analysis, market share, positioning of product portfolio - short and long term.
* Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure supply strategy is aligned to deliver best overall value to Dyno Nobel
* Lead the internal transfer pricing process for nitrogen products into the retail sales and ops wholly owned regions
* Allocate capacity, including excess, based on economic return.
* Work with supply chain to ensure cost effective delivery of products.
* Develop contingency plans based on potential industry and/or Dyno Nobel supply/demand scenarios.
* Convert macroeconomic industry outlooks into 3-5 year demand picture, market share by industry segment, pricing strategy and market balance versus Company position
* Recommend and custodian of pricing guidelines for budget and project evaluations for both short term and long-term planning purposes.
* Custodian of competitor intelligence for ammonium nitrate derivative products.
* Establishrelationships with key external stakeholders to monitor market developments and to identify potential opportunities/threats.
* Identify and play a key role in managing a growth project hopper for the manufacturing sites that are in line with overall regional and global strategy.
* Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to promote and complete commercial nitrogen capital projects.
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree in a business or finance related field. MBA preferred.
* 5+ years relevant work experience in marketing, finance or nitrogen products with demonstrated capabilities to manage commercial activities including
