Commercial Litigation Senior Associate Attorney - Gpac

A well established California business law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a background in business and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have experience in conducting legal research, preparation of pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, mediating disputes and trial preparation. Attorneys in the litigation practice group manage a varied caseload from partnership disputes to business torts and complex commercial disputes, representing and counseling individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Business litigation, including commercial collections, contract disputes, torts and class actions, and/or related commercial disputes
• Adept at conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and mediation
• Possess superior communication skills and collaborative abilities in a collegial environment
• Proficient in managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines efficiently
• First and/or Second Chair trial experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted and in good standing with the California bar
