Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation cases in both federal and state courts.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court.
- Perform administrative duties such as case management.
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis of case law, statutes, legal journals, and other legal data.
- Prepare for and attend court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership with the California State Bar.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases.
- Exceptional research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with real estate disputes and business torts is a plus.
