Our client, a rapidly growing and unique insurance organization and one of the fastest-growing insurance brokers in the U.S. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Team Lead to join their team.
As the Commercial Lines Team Lead, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a team of 5 Account Managers and be the point of contact for a $3M book of insurance, specifically focusing on handling middle-market generalist accounts.

As the Commercial Lines Team Lead, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a team of 5 Account Managers and be the point of contact for a $3M book of insurance, specifically focusing on handling middle-market generalist accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic and Operational Leadership: Develop strong relationships with company leaders and stakeholders.
Utilizes Key Performance Indicators to measure and communicate business outcomes. Actively participates in strategic discussions, providing updates on business operations and projects. Manages staffing requirements and oversees efficient billing and financial transactions. - Client Relationship Management: Enhances client interaction strategies to ensure service excellence. Works closely with Unit Leaders and Producers to uphold standards in workflow and procedures. Standardizes roles and responsibilities across various departments and regions.
- Team Development: Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performance team. Aligns team skills with business requirements and identifies growth opportunities. Implements hiring and training strategies, promotes diversity and inclusion, and leads change management initiatives.
- Placement Efficiency and Accountability: Stays informed about industry trends and liaises with underwriters for optimal product placement. Administers placement tasks, ensuring compliance with market strategies.
- Account Executive Role: Manages a diverse range of client accounts, acting as the primary liaison for clients and internal teams. Strategizes insurance placements and service delivery, conducting client meetings and supervising Account Managers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
- Mandatory state Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
