We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a solid background in commercial insurance, customer service, risk management, account management, policy analysis, and property and casualty. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of client service, including preparing proposals, certificates, and endorsements.
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
2. Analyzing and assessing clients' insurance needs and advising on the most suitable insurance policies.
3. Preparing, presenting, and explaining insurance policy proposals to clients.
4. Issuing certificates and endorsements as required.
5. Collaborating closely with the sales team to develop strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
6. Assisting clients with claims and liaising with insurance providers to ensure swift resolution.
7. Staying updated on the latest industry trends, products, and regulations to provide accurate information to clients.
8. Conducting regular reviews of clients' insurance policies to identify gaps in coverage and opportunities for upselling.
9. Implementing effective risk management strategies to minimize clients' exposure to financial risks.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, customer service, risk management, account management, policy analysis, property, and casualty.
2. Strong knowledge of insurance products, procedures, and best practices.
3. Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable policies.
6. Proficiency in preparing proposals, certificates, and endorsements.
7. A proactive approach to risk management with the ability to anticipate potential risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them.
8. A professional insurance designation such as CIP or CRM would be considered an asset.
