Commercial Lines Account Manager - CivicMinds, Inc

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, including physician groups, hospitals, nursing facilities, and home healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments for each client and offer expert recommendations on medical malpractice, general liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
• Manage the full insurance lifecycle, including policy writing, renewals, claims handling, and ongoing risk management consulting.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare regulations, and advancements in healthcare technology to provide informed, relevant coverage advice.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate and secure the most competitive rates and coverage packages for clients.
• Educate clients on their insurance policies, ensuring they understand their coverage, exclusions, and any changes to the insurance landscape that may affect them.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience writing and brokering insurance for healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, doctor’s offices, and other medical providers (3-5 years preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare insurance products, including medical malpractice, professional liability, and workers' compensation.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a client-first approach.
• Ability to analyze and advise on risk management and insurance strategies tailored to healthcare clients.
• Active P&C insurance license is required.
