We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive with specialized expertise in the entertainment industry. This role involves managing key client relationships, overseeing insurance portfolios, and ensuring comprehensive coverage tailored to the unique needs of entertainment businesses, including production companies, film studios, events, and individual performers.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of entertainment industry clients, including production companies, studios, events organizers, and performers.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their specific insurance needs and risk exposures.
Provide timely communication and expert advice regarding policy options, risk management strategies, and coverage solutions.
Policy Management & Renewals:
Oversee the administration of commercial insurance policies, including General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Errors & Omissions (E&O), and specialized entertainment coverages such as production insurance, cast insurance, and event cancellation insurance.
Manage policy renewals by conducting thorough reviews of coverage, identifying changes in client needs, and negotiating terms with carriers.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and carrier guidelines.
Risk Assessment & Coverage Solutions:
Assess entertainment clients' risks, such as on-location shoots, equipment rentals, talent coverage, and liability concerns related to live events.
Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to develop tailored coverage solutions that address specific industry exposures.
Provide expert recommendations on risk mitigation strategies and appropriate coverage enhancements.
Sales & New Business Development:
Identify opportunities to expand business within the entertainment industry by pursuing new clients and upselling additional coverages to existing accounts.
Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and client presentations to promote the company’s services and expertise.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and negotiations to close new business and secure renewals.
Claims Advocacy:
Serve as a claims advocate for entertainment clients, ensuring timely reporting and resolution of claims, and acting as a liaison between the client and the carrier.
Assist clients with understanding claims processes, coverage options, and potential impacts on their policies.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including account managers, producers, and support staff, to ensure efficient servicing of entertainment accounts.
Coordinate with the marketing department to promote the company’s entertainment insurance offerings and success stories.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all client files, contracts, and policy documentation are maintained accurately and up to date within the agency management system.
Stay informed of regulatory changes, industry trends, and legal developments within the entertainment insurance space.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial lines insurance with a focus on entertainment clients.
Strong knowledge of specialized coverages such as production insurance, cast insurance, errors & omissions, and event insurance.
Ability to manage multiple high-profile client accounts with attention to detail and responsiveness.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Licensing in Property & Casualty insurance required.
