As the Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a high-volume generalist book of insurance business. Primary Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management
- Efficiently manage a substantial portfolio of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance business.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required tasks.
- Client Relationship Building
- Foster strong client loyalty by establishing positive relationships.
- Deliver exceptional service and maintain professional communication standards.
- Policy and Claim Handling
- Handle various aspects of policies and claims, including renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
- This also involves marketing renewal business.
- Market Knowledge
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the markets, including their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submission procedures, and industry trends.
- Quality Assurance
- Scrutinize applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for precision.
- Conduct comprehensive loss/claim analysis and produce summaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 5+ Years of experience in Commercial Account Management or Commercial Underwriting.
- Preferred: CIC designation or equivalent.
- Property & Casualty License required
- Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred.
