Our client, a fast-growing insurance brokerage ranked among the Top 100 in the U.S., is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their Manchester, NH office. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in commercial construction and bonds to build strong client relationships, develop new business, and deliver exceptional insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities from prospects and existing clients through calls, emails, personal visits, and lead generation.
- Conduct client appointments to assess business and insurance needs, present proposals, and provide detailed coverage explanations.
- Submit, rate, quote, and place new business in line with agency and carrier guidelines.
- Assemble and submit accurate insurance applications, underwriting information, and loss history to agency and carrier partners.
- Collaborate with marketing and service teams to negotiate optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Develop formal insurance proposals detailing coverages, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross-sell opportunities.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals.
- Utilize agency systems, including AMS360 and CRM software, to maintain documentation and ensure workflow compliance.
- Stay informed on industry developments through continuing education and community involvement.
- Comply with state licensing and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
- Active property and casualty insurance license.
- 3-5+ years of proven insurance sales experience.
- Proficient knowledge of commercial construction and bond insurance.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel (up to 60%).
