Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Commercial Lines Account Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our commercial lines department by providing administrative assistance and managing client accounts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of insurance regulations and processes.
Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Assist in managing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests, demonstrating expertise in insurance matters.
Collaborate with Account Managers to address client needs effectively and efficiently.
Policy Management:
Process new policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify policy documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain organized electronic and physical policy files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist Account Managers in preparing reports, presentations, and proposals for clients.
Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and documentation for policy servicing and claims processing.
Maintain accurate client and policy data in agency management systems.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders through effective communication and professionalism.
Participate in client meetings, as needed, to provide support and contribute insights coverage matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines.
Understanding of Worker's Compensation regulations, policies, and procedures a plus.
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) a plus.
