Wright Contracting, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Laborer/Multi-Skilled Professional to join our commercial construction team. This role requires working under the supervision of a superintendent on large-scale projects and independently on smaller projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial carpentry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to take initiative. - Carpentry & Construction Work: Perform a variety of construction tasks, focusing on commercial carpentry. Trim carpentry experience is a plus.
- Project Support: Assist superintendents in the completion of larger projects, and work independently on smaller projects.
- Site Preparation: Help with site setup, material handling, and clean-up as necessary.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Work well with others, take direction from superintendents, and lead others to complete tasks efficiently.
- Adherence to Specifications: Learn and follow manufacturer's installation specifications for new and unfamiliar products.
- Motivation & Learning: Display a strong desire to learn new skills, complete tasks within deadlines, and advance within the company.
- Experience: Commercial carpentry experience required, with trim carpentry experience being a plus.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as switching job sites during the day may be necessary.
- Background & Drug Check: Must pass a government background check and drug test.
- Work Ethic: Strong motivation to complete tasks on time and within budget.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others and take direction from superintendents.
- Punctuality: Reliability is essential, and you must be ready to work by 7:00 AM daily.
