Responsibilities:
1. Manage the renewal process of commercial insurance policies, ensuring all renewals are processed efficiently and accurately.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
3. Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions for policy renewals and new business.
4. Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverages.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in commercial insurance and the construction sector.
6. Handle complex insurance claims and disputes, liaising with claims adjusters and legal teams as necessary.
7. Provide exceptional customer service, resolving client queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
8. Deliver comprehensive reports on insurance renewals, claims, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance.
2. Proven experience in managing insurance renewals is essential.
3. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
4. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management principles.
5. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, underwriters, and team members.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the capacity to handle complex claims and disputes.
7. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
8. Proficient in using insurance software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Professional insurance qualifications, such as Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), are highly desirable.
10. Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.
