About the Company

Our client, a growing and highly successful commercial insurance agency located in Sussex County, NJ, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and contribute to the continued growth of an established agency. Candidates must reside near Newton, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Service all aspects of an assigned book of commercial lines business.
• Work closely with clients daily, providing superior customer care and strategic insurance solutions.
• Assist in rate-making and demonstrate a strong understanding of underwriting practices.
• Manage workflows and resolve daily issues efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• License: Valid Insurance License is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing commercial insurance business.
• Strong understanding of insurance terminology, protection applications, rating, and available markets.
• Skilled in managing staff and handling workflows.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Applied TAM is preferred.
• Professional designations (e.g., CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, AAI) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience.
• Supplemental Pay: Bonus and commission opportunities.
